Dear Ben,
Thanks for your last letter, and sorry I couldn’t answer you earlier.
I didn’t know you have a cat! How old is it? I also don’t understand people who avoid having pets. Usually they do it because of the allergy or they’re just afraid of extra cleaning and responsibility. It is all the same to me if people have exotic pets or regular ones, I think that having any kinds of creatures is cool, of course if you aren't afraid of them. In Russia the most popular pets are dogs and cats like everywhere. Some people buy hamsters, rats, Guiney pigs, parrots or fish.
