Task 2 (2–3 minutes)

You play the part of a student in an international language school. It’s the end of the course and all your classmates are packing for holidays. You see your classmate Kate/Ken and stop for a chat.

- Find out where your classmate is going to spend the holidays.

- Answer your classmate’s questions about what you prefer  — living in a city or in the countryside and why.

- Answer the questions about your favourite kind of books.

- Reject the invitation to go to the pizzeria. Give an excuse.

You begin the conversation. The examiner will play the part of your classmate.

Remember to

- mention all the four aspects of the task;

- take an active part in the conversation and be polite.
